Really pleased for you Osc :D
We sort of have an airing cupboard but it houses the water tank. I've put a telescopic shower curtain rail in there though so hang clothes on that to air. It's a shame the tank's in there because it's a big cupboard, it'd be so useful.

Oooh woweee Osc, bye-bye builders :D

We have a lovely big airing cupboard, it does have the hot tank in but that's what makes it warm :)
When we looked at a couple of new builds we were amazed at how full the so-called airing cupboards were, you couldn't have used them at all!

Yes we have a big tank in it but the builder built a great floor to ceiling cupboard around it, with shelves, it will be brilliant and also warm.

Oh yes I meant one over the tank, that's what I've had before ;)

Jo that sounds interesting, I wonder if I could get the same thing into my cupboard on the landing that houses the massive hot water tank  8-) I was amazed that we had the tank, with this house being less than ten years old I would have thought they'd have combi boilers - another cupboard for storage instead would be sooo useful here

It's one of the first things I did when I moved into my flat - got rid of the hot water tank and installed a combi boiler; best thing ever (provided you don't have a problem with the gas of course, the you're stuck with no hot water at all  )

Kaz, could you not replace your system with a decent Combi boiler?

I wish I had an airing cupboard for bedding, towels, curtains and things, rather than having to keep them in drawers.

Possibly Ria, but it would have to join the list - new (darker!) carpets are definitely the next thing :? ;)
