Thank you everyone.

I had panel all day (not the nicest way to spend your birthday - particularly as we had a difficult case) but after that I spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around town looking for pixie boots (failed to find), black lipstick and loads of bead necklaces (found).

Off out for a meal shortly and then Mick and I might wander down to the pub to see friends.

Lazy day tomorrow though - hair done in the morning, then lots of nothingness before I get ready for the 80's party (friends 50th) hence the pixie boots, lipstick and beads - I am no longer going as a Bananarama lookalike but after finding a big white grandad shirt in the charity shop will be morphing into a New Romantic chick.

Pressie wise I had Pandora charms from Mick, bracelet from mum, unknown present from my sis (not got it yet), ticket to see Full Monty in Sheffield in May from my bessie (going with her), candle from S, flowers, wine and from L a big bag of sweeties - which she promptly took away and said that as I am on a diet she will eat them for me!
