Kenwood Pro

I went into the electrical aisle at Sainsbury's to buy a new hand whisk as I haven't been able to find my old one since we moved. Then I spotted the bargain of the year - a Kenwood True Multipro Compact food processor! Does the lot and reduced from £99.99 to £27.99. So of course I bought it!

This is going to be very handy now I am having to cook so much stuff from scratch.

What a bargain!

Brilliant :D Yes that should come in really useful :)

Sainsburys do have some huge reductions at this time of year, especially on kitchen equipment. Unfortunately it's too far away for me to just pop in and see :)

They had loads of stuff reduced, the timing on this processor couldn't be better! :D I was on foot Di, so had to tie the box to the top of my trolley but I managed. I was afraid if I waited for the weekend when M could take me in the car they might have all gone

That's a neat price Kaz.

Has it got the blender and bean grinder or are they separates?

No blender, but luckily I have a whizzy stick hand blender, so I'm not too fussed :)

I'm going to try crumble mix in it in a minute 8-)

Hmmm, I might have to go to Sanisbury's tomorrow. Too late today.

Good luck with the crumble. :D

What a bargain!! :D

I had a bargain from there a couple of weeks ago, not cooking related. Though maybe kind of. I have an iPod dock with combined radio in the kitchen but it broke over Christmas. The only ones with radio I could find were quite expensive but I ran into Sainsburys for some bread and saw some in their sale - reduced from £89.99 down to £29.99, and even better was that I had enough Nectar points to get it for free :D

Wow Jo, that's an impressive saving too 8-) 8-)

Frank it's well worth a look in there at the moment, so many bargains on expensive electricals 8-)

It whizzed my crumble mix up in no time - very exciting!! 8-) :D

No joy Kaz, you must have got a manager's special special. :D They had a similar one with a blender reduced from £89.99 to £49.99 but I cannot justify that as I already have a Braun whizzer with a 750ml processor and a grinder.

Shame, coz they do have some good deals on. It looks like a stock clearance before the new stuff comes in.
