Morning :)
Rain here - enough said.

Bb had an hour-long conference/training phone call hence I'm only just on here. He doesn't have any other work today which is a good thing, he can sort all his stuff out here and have a slow start tomorrow.

Meriad I'd been meaning to ask too, and have to agree, I wouldn't really want it ready cut, or covered in sauce - glad you tried it out for the rest of us though :D
Yaaay Kaz Harry week! :D
Jen have a lovely time, and look forward to your lie-ins at the end of the week :)
Lol Ton good plan ;) :D
Think the weather's meant to improver after today so I'll save any goings out :)

Good afternoon everybody.
Have been to the opticians this morning to have my eyes tested. Recommended that I have new glasses as there has been a slight change in my vision. I have had the existing spectacles since 2007. So ordered a new set. Will need a second mortgage--£99 for the frames and £65 for the lenses
Not exactly daylight robbery but hope they will last as long. Not on the NHS but I do get a free eye test..
Have a good day everybody

Good afternoon all. Most unpleasant weather here. Drizzling with rain.

Been shopping in town this morning.

Cruiser - I've always thought that the prices charged for spectacle frames was outrageous.
When you think of what other things you can buy for £99, how on earth can they justify it?

Evening all, it was a nice day weatherwise with just a bit of rain late afternoon. Miss Osc, Michael and Kellie were here this morning to have showers as there was something wrong with their heating and water. Then I collected my friend E who is over from Spain, to bring her here for lunch and a look at our new home - she was suitably impressed  Left her back to her daughter's house around 4pm. We are going out to a sequence dance class this evening so I might just rest my eyes for a few minutes ;) Minding the children tomorrow, so I won't be around much!!
