I knew you were doing the couch to 5k but not about Chatsworth, that's brilliant Debih, I'm quite sure you'll do it :)
Having Fruity join you is a really good incentive too :)

Yay - Week 2, Run 1 done. (I am going to bore you all to death with this running thing you do realise that don't you? Its a 9 week programme but as week 1 took me almost 4 weeks to complete I'm not expecting to actually be finished in 8 weeks time).

I ran along the tow path as usual but it was lovely and quiet today. Probably because no one else was mad enough to go out in the rain. It is often very busy but its really handy - my office is just across the road from the start of the canal (the busiest part of the canal) and it seems daft to get in the car to drive somewhere else to run.

I ran like a girl - avoiding all the puddles. It wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be - 6 x 90 second runs with 2 minute walks inbetween - but the last two runs were more of a stagger than a run. But I did it.

And I wore my new running clothes. Fair enough, I know I looked like a sausage bursting out of its skin but I have decided I don't care what I look like as a) I don't intend to bump into anyone I actually know (running mid afternoon when everyone else is at work helps on that front) and b) I just don't care.

Fat club tonight although I have just got on the scales and I don't appear to have lost any weight from last weeks weigh in, rather depressingly! But I had to fasten my belt up a notch tighter this morning and had to fasten my sports bra on the smallest setting so I know that it is going from somewhere.

I love my little sister to bits, but she's the only person I know who could make going for a fortnight to St Lucia sound like a chore  :P

Think I'll have to give a miss to all this walking I've been doing, I can only hobble at the moment and my ankle is puffy and sore

We use an expats board, well, Grumpy does, and there's this bloke in Thailand, coming over in March, so I sent him some photos - of the house ;)
