I bought running gear from Tesco.

A mottled grey top with purple trim and some sausage skin trousers in black with an orange trim.

I am sure I will look like a hippo waddling along the towpath but I don't care.

Cake disaster.

I'm making an apple and caramel cake for craft group.

The skewer came out clean. It looked baked. I left it in the tin for ten minutes. I started to turn it out. It's still raw.

I've bunged it back in. If it fails, it'll be Mr Kipling.

It's baked now.

Got to make caramel buttercream next - after my bath.

Then on Tuesdaty caramel icing to top it and dry some apples to decorate it.

Gin and tonic cake for next week I think.
