There was a thing on fb a few of us did, asking if you're a picky eater; it listed 87 food items and all you had to do was tick the ones you don't eat.
I only ticked 2, but like a lot of others, there were quite a few things I'd eat if they were put in front of me but wouldn't particularly choose.
The result of course was that I'm completely unpicky, but thinking about it, I am pretty picky
There are things I happily eat, but not just any old way.
For instance, I like tinned tuna, and would take a tuna and cucumber sandwich to work with me 4 days out of 5 (it helps not to have to think early in the mornings!)
But I'd really struggle to eat that sandwich on white bread, it has to be wholemeal for it to taste right.
Likewise, once in hospital I was brought a tuna sandwich, but it was just that - tuna in white bread; without that crunch of cucumber I physically couldn't eat it!
Contrarily though, I couldn't eat a ham sandwich if it had lettuce and/or cucumber in it
And if that tuna sandwich had sweetcorn in it, it would go straight out of the window, you can't even take the sweetcorn out
Also don't like to eat sweetcorn put on a plate as a vegetable - it's ok added with other veg to rice, and lovely on the cob, or made into fritters
There's loads more...see, I'm really picky!
Is it just me?
