Thanks for that. Loz.

You do realise that I am on a DIET because I need to lose some WEIGHT. :o

I have a sense of deja vu or of the phoenix rising. There was a similar idea doing the rounds way back with the baguette slices rolled tightly in foil and the ends twisted like a sweet then baked in the oven.

Yum!
Have you seen the one where you hollow out a large roll, line it with ham, crack in an egg, cover with cheese, pop the lid of the roll back on, wrap in foil and bake for 15 minutes? Oh I say! :D

My ex used to do this: Roll out a ball of pizza dough to an oblong shape. Place it on a 15 x 20 inch baking tray, push it to the edges to fill the tray and leave it to rise for 15 mins. With a spoon handle dipped in milk or water mark out a 3 by 4 grid without cutting through the dough. Top each square with pizza sauce, chesse and different toppings then cook in the middle of the oven on its highest setting for about eight mins.

Bizarrely when I clicked on the link the tear and share picture really did nothing for me! A couple of months ago I would have been slobbering over the photo.

Since I stopped eating bread (albeit subconsciously until I realised I wasn't eating it - if that makes sense) I don't crave it like I used to. I honestly, honestly never thought I would say those words - I was such a bread monster.

I think I am going to give myself the ultimate test next week though and bake - Mick and the girls are complaining that I haven't made any bread this year (going from making at least one loaf a week) so I have promised that when they go back to school I will start again.
