Poor little mite (((((((((((((((((((((Baby Max and mummy)))))))))))))))))))))))

Sounds like mummy might have had a touch of pre-eclampsia, in which case the early birth would have been the best option for them both to survive :( Hoping he pulls through, and shame on the docs who ignored such clear warning signs and gave her painkillers!!  :(

I agree about the card, best to hang back on that for a bit. I'm sure you support is helping far more xxxxxxxxxxxx

Lots of love, vibes, and strength sent to Max, and to his parents. Does anyone remember my great nephew Jake who was born 2.5 months early and was in an incubator in the special care unit for ages. I remember posting a photo of Jake tucked into his Mums cleavage it was so like a baby kangaroo in its pouch.. Jake was a very delicate little soul, tiny and frail looking. However he is now 8 years, still cute with a huge appetite, still has a few problems but nothing he can't live with. They all go off t football matches together, and he seems to join in everything. His parents had waited so long for him as it took them ages to conceive and carry a baby long enough to be viable. He also got his Aunt to take him on the big wheel and he wanted it to stop right at the top so he could see if he was scared of heights.(He wasn't)

So encourage your friends by keeping positive. Jake enjoys every moment of life and he had no brain damage at all. So nowadays it's amazing what they can do even if the early months are fraught and endless. Xx
P.s. I love the name as well.
