my friend has just rung
her DIL had a baby boy tuesday
who is 2 months early and only weighs 2 lb
and hes so tiny and frail friend is so upsett
the mum hasent been well for a week or ttwo
dispite 3 blood tests for protien 2 were positive and hospital told her just to take paracetamol
for her back aCH :swollen legs and feet :shock: she went to her drs monday who sent her to hospital
and it was panic stations her protin count was 400
and baby was delivered tuesday early morning
i also dont know wether to send a grandparents card
to my friend after all he is a new grandson and it might cheer her up
but what if the baby doesent survive
she hasent told any body in her family only me
so no mention on f/B she said
come on max (love the name ) you can do it

Oh, Saundra, that is heartbreaking - only 2lb!

I think I would hold off on the card for a while. Your loving support and understanding will mean a lot more in the long run, even if it only comes down to phone calls, and a card can be bought any time.

Loads of strengthening vibes on their way to Max.

Lots of babies do go on to be perfectly normal but you never know do you when they're so early xx
