Quite frankly, the weirdest combination I've had for many a long year was sampled at Coventry RUFC back last November. For £3, you got two faggots, gravy and mushy peas - served inside a bread bun! The sodden bread bun was duly ditched in the trash container after I'd scraped as much faggot and pea off it as I could rescue ......

I've no idea what possessed them to offer faggots and mushy peas like that.
