And a very good morning all - usual work day for me; although very nice this morning to not have to scrape ice off the windscreen

Gosh Ton - 16 degrees only? That really is cold, esp as you don't have central heating like we do. What are your night temperatures like at the moment? bbrrrrrrr
Saundra; glad J is OK - accidents on ice can happen so quickly.
Aggers, good luck with the dentist today

Everyone else, have a lovely day today - enjoy whatever it is you're up to, stay warm and dry

Vibes as always to those that need them

Morning all :D

We had quite a few flurries of snow yesterday, luckily it didn't settle properly. Today it's bright sunshine 8-)

Glad J's okay Saundra, that must have been very frightening.

Lots of bits to do today, need to pop into the solicitor with our proof of identity, get the signed forms and cheque off to the surveyor, post a cheque to the CH for mother's extras (hairdresser/chiropodist) and sort a birthday card for our son. Oh and it would help if we bought something for dinner too

Hope you all have a good day :D

We've got a flat car battery - don't think we'll be going anywhere today

And it's blowing a bitterly cold north wind

Morning all :)
Lovely and bright and sunny here, but that vicious wind is back, like needles in your face!

I'm all dopey-dozy, the jab always knocks me out but yesterday I didn't have a kip, then Bb wasn't home till after 9, plus if I go to bed too early I tend to be awake too early as well...anyway, I'm here, feeling much better after a nice shower :)

Jen could you get me something for dinner too please :D
There is stuff in the freezer but in my dopey state I can't work out what to get out :?
Saundra glad J is ok, it is scary when that happens (((x)))

Evening all, woke up feeling very headachey - going through phases of cluster migraines at the moment  However, I felt that solpadine might deal with it, so I took two with breakfast and then went back to bed for an hour or so. Gradually felt much better as the day went on. We were expecting the painter but he never arrived. Mr. Osc got cross with the kitchen guy on the phone (people should know that once he gets involved, things are getting serious), so kitchen guy arranged to be here at 3pm. We more or less finished our bedroom and it looks lovely (pic on Photo board). Went to the pub next door for lunch but decided we would have our main meal, fish pie I had and it was very yummy. Kitchen guy and his installer arrived, and they say that the snag list we had compiled were the fault of the builders (which some of them very well may be). So I hope they sort it out between them, and in the meantime, the installer is coming in the morning to do whatever can be done, some other things might need to be replaced.

When they were gone, I did some ironing and now we are relaxing for the evening. Kitchen installer will be here at 8.30am tomorrow, so up early again. Hope everyone has had a good day :)
