Morning all :D

No snow here yet, it's been raining overnight but that's it for now. E says the forecast predicts we'll get some later today, we're going out for lunch around 2ish so fingers crossed it stays away until we're safely back here in the warm.

I'm with Kaz and Saundra Lissie, if you feel up to it drive yourself to the church, that way you can leave when it suits you.

Apart from lunch out, we weren't planning on doing much else today, but the solicitor's stuff for the bungalow has just arrived in the post so I'll need to go through it all this morning.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)
We've had snow! :D They'd only predicted 'wintery showers, probably sleet' so it was a bit of a surprise when I looked out of the bedroom window :)
It wasn't doing much, but half an hour later it started coming down really heavily.
I had to go to the hospital for 10 so had to spend a while clearing the car off, then just as I got there it stopped and it's beginning to melt already.
Quite good really, we got to see it looking all pretty but with none of the inconvenience :D

Debih 6-weekly really is ridiculous isn't it, what a waste of time and money
Probably a bit late Lissie but I agree, just say you're sorry but not feeling up to the whole crematorium/pub bits, but hope to feel well enough to go to the church xx
Osc hope it's getting sorted out today x
Oops Kaz - still, like mine, it will grow :D

Morning all, we have sunshine and blue skies here, but it's cold. No snow, I really feel cheated! Who do I complain to? I am having a relaxing morning, still not showered but I get days like this, so I don't fight them. I am still doing well on the 2 small bowls of liquidised stew that Mike has been making me, he removes all the veg. I can't digest like swedes, turnips and onions, and the blitzes the rest. It is like a very thick, smooth soup. It smells and tastes delicious and I have felt so much stronger and my legs aren't shakey. It has been wonderful for me to feel so much better.

Lissie, I agree with the others if you feel like it go to the Church, don't worry about the rest.

I notice good wishes being sent to Mr P and BB, I am sorry I didn't know there were ill so I send my belated good wishes. To both.

Have a good day everyone :D

Hi Cruiser :D

Di our snow has melted now ;)

It was cold out there, but I managed town and back easily enough, all wrapped up :) :) Popped in to see D and she's taken the legs up on Mick's new trousers for me and pressed them beautifully, as I rather hoped she might ;)
