They were just marking down the meat again in Morrisons this morning - a tray of 8 pork loin chops for £1.69 and a half kilo of diced British braising steak for £1.53

Saundra it seems Sunday mornings are THE time for meat markdowns in our Morrisons I think all supermarkets do the same, but you have to be in the right place at the right time

Every room in house is so hot it's stifling.

Except the living room where it feels freezing.

Radiatir is not as hot as it should be - a job for Mick this weekend me thinks.

Phew, such a busy day.

New battery for car, lovely lad arrived quickly and fitted it, so gave him 5 euros as a thank you , went shopping, did loads of washing, legging it up and downstairs, lecky man came and we had to sign new forms as it's all changed here He didn't speak any English and we both had difficutly understanding his Portuguese, from the north, apparently prepped dinner, then had a phone call to say Dirk (agent) would be round in about 20 minutes. Less than 5 minutes later, he's here, with a Portuguese couple.
