What Are We Reading In February?

Postby Ally » 31 Jan 2015, 23:19

I'm reading The Light In The Window by June Goulding.

It's the shocking true story set in a home for unmarried pregnant girls run by the Sacred Heart nuns in Cork. :?

Even though it's heartrending to read I've not been able to put it down since starting to read it this morning.

I've no plans.

I suppose I could read all the 4,264 pages of our Randon Thread Board.

LOL Aggers! That'd keep you going a while!

I've just finished The Curvy Girls Club by Michelle Gorman, it was okay. I'm now ready Dirty Northern B*****ds And Other Tales From The Terraces by Tim Marshall, it's about football.

I'm reading Mr Penumbras 24 Hour Book Store by Robn Sloan.

So far so good.

I'm now reading The Little Shop Of Hopes And a Dreams by Fiona Harper, it's not bad so far and was only 19p for the Kindle (still is, I think).

I'm reading Apple Tree Yard by Louise Doughty - it's taken me a while to get into it and I don't have much sympathy for the main character, but I'll keep going.

I'm still reading the book store book but have also picked up The Boy that Never Was by Karen Perry from the library so will probably start that tomorrow.

I finished The Little Shop Of Hopes And a Dreams, I enjoyed it and it's worth getting if it's still 19p. I've now started The Girl Who Just Appeared by Jonathon Harvey. I've read one of his before and really enjoyed it and this is looking promising too :)
