Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 30 Jan 2015, 06:56

Good morning. :D

I woke myself (and Don!) up as I was laughing loudly in my sleep.

All I can remember was a funfair, my work mates and a chicken tikka curry!

Another nice day forecast here so after my coffee it's a power walk for me. :D :D

Back home to mark the last of the exam papers. (phew!) :P

Will enjoy pootling at home today and off out for our usual Friday night beers and tapas which I love.

Have a good day everyone. :D

Morning all.

We've had massive snowfall overnight - we were forecast slight snow showers and got about 6 inches. School is closed.

My plans for the day have not changed - tv, knitting, fire.

Morning all, lovely bright morning here, no frost or snow and it's about 4 degrees which is good. The sky was definitely getting light when I was getting up just after 7am, a good sign of the days getting longer. We are expecting a guy just after 9am to quote us for an intercom, at the moment anyone calling has to bang on the window downstairs and hope we hear  (or ring and say they are outside!). He was supposed to come yesterday but didn't, and when I finally phoned him last night, he said he would be here after he left his children to school, he only lives up the road. No big plans today, need to do some ironing, and get a few bits together for a night away on Sunday. Thinking of Ally's dad and Mr PP. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all. A mixed bag weather wise for us today. Blue skies then grey skies, then blue skies, then grey skies  We had a very small smattering of snow yesterday afternoon - about 10 mins of it apparently but most of it had melted and then started freezing again by the time I was going home. The gritters were out in full force just before so that was good; just hope they do the same again because they're expecting it to drop to about -1 tonight which means all this slushy mess is going to become one huge ice rink; not nice.

LOL Ally, that is a nice way to wake up ;)
Debih, enjoy your day by the fire - it sounds absolutely blissfully perfect to me
Saundra, hope you don't have to go anywhere today, esp if it's so icy
Ton, glad the regular walking is making a difference. Not much longer and you'll be able to join Ally on her killer runs or power walks. Well done both of you
Osc, hopefully the guy turns up on time and you have the rest of the day to do what you want to do.

Continued vibes to those who need them

Have a lovely day everyone, stay warm and dry xxxx

Good morning, all.

Bright and sunny here, but snow and ice on the ground. The footpaths
are covered with lots of black ice, so I won't be venturing out yet awhile.

Hope you are all O.K.

Morning all :)
Very cold and a strong wind but bright and sunny here at the moment, no snow so far.

Lol Ally I do that, it's weird isn't it :D
Saundra hope you don't have to go out x
Good for Grumpy Ton, it's surprising just how little it takes to make a difference isn't it :)
Osc an intercom's a good idea, I could've done with one of those at my flat :)
Kaz really hope the weather doesn't get too bad for your trip tomorrow (((x)))

Bb's out working but should be finished around lunchtime; think he's working tomorrow and Sunday so I'd best grab the car while I can ;)
