Morning all :D

I'm so disorientated at the moment, woke up and thought it was Friday :o All the driving/visits over the weekend have completely thrown my week out :?

Glad your Dad had a reasonable night Ally :D

Don't know what happened with the internet yesterday, it went off late the previous evening. When I rang Sky to find out what was going on they were playing a recorded message saying it was a problem in our area and they were working on it. The landline was also down so I'm guessing the fault was at the exchange. Took them hours to fix, but I eventually got a text late afternoon to say it was fixed. I couldn't even use the mobile data allowance on my phone as we're in a blackspot and that doesn't work in this house

Off for a second viewing on a bungalow we saw a couple of weeks ago. We made a cheeky low offer last week and after a little negotiation were accepted at a really good price. Both the kitchen and bathroom although usable do need a bit of updating and we would want to look at increasing the size of the conservatory to use as a dining area, but otherwise it's been kept in very good condition, even the heating system is only 4 years old. There's a good size garage and the garden is a nice size and not too big for E to manage. It's in a very popular location as it's in easy walking distance to the village shops, so overall a really good deal. Tbh having looked at bungalows in a lot of areas now we're not going to get anything in as good condition and where we want to be any time soon. It's not perfect, but it could be and because we're getting such a good price we'll have the money to make it what we want. The apartment's big selling point is the sea view, but it has no garage or outside space and is almost £40,000 dearer, that's a lot of doing up money, even more importantly it's not available right now. Let's see what today's visit to the bungalow brings up, in any case we really can't wait around for the apartment peeps much longer.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)

Good luck Jen that could be a really good deal if you like the location, and enough spare to get it exactly how you want it :)
Good luck with the dentist and sofa Kaz (probably a bit late for at least one of those).

We have a computer :D :D :D
So it turned out to be the monitor after all  Bb was in a big rush when he came home and got it on Saturday to take in, but we were both a bit stupid and thought it 'couldn't' be the monitor so he didn't take it  We'd only had it since October - anyway, for now we have a loaned one while the guy sorts it out. I hope he can, it's a really nice one.

Been changeable here, we've had it really dark and a few showers (rain), but at the moment it's lovely, bright blue sky and sunshine, albeit with a freezing wind :D
I've been to the hairdresser, not so much trimmed as completely shorn
No doubt most of the afternoon will be spent glued to this chair doing all those things I couldn't without a pc ;) :D

Afternoon all, we had quite a bit of wet snow this morning, so it was never going to settle thank goodness. Then it cleared up and has mostly been sunny although bitterly cold. We collected Michael from school, first time doing that for soooo long, and slipped back into the little routine of walking down past the shops, getting a few bits, popping in to see Miss Osc's friend who has a clothes shop, then back to our new house where he seems to like everything :D Miss Osc is collecting him around 4pm so I will go and do his homework with him now!

Lovely Osc, and so nice for Michael to know that's where you'll be staying put now too :)

The sun soon went, it's been dark and horrible with sudden downpours - no snow, just windy rain.

Good afternoon everybody.
Did some more sun bathing this morning and then walked into Grenada after lunch.
Relaxing in the cool before getting ready for dinner and drinks
Hugs and vibes to those that need them
