Three doors down is up for sale. They've not been there for long...2 years perhaps...and have just had an orangery built onto the back. I only really know them to say hello to in passing but he seems to work away a lot so maybe they're having to relocate.

I am beginning to feel a bit down about all this selling malarky.

We've noticed, just this week, that there are three new houses on the market. The nearest one in price and design to us is almost new - the others are detached, with pools and there are a couple of others I've spotted that are really shabby. One even had the kitchen ripped out

But then I suppose that if there are some new ones on the matket, then things may be picking up.

But yesterday I was really really fed up

Yes that's just like the 5 bed version of this one, there are lots of them on here near us, and ours looks just like that from the front I must admit I would like a second reception room I was thinking of maybe adding a conservatory to the back of this at some point, coming off the living room where we now have the patio doors. We'd lose half the garden, but I could live with that as long as we still had the decking and room enough to sit outside

Aw Ton, it can really get you down I know - I was getting really despondent when we tried to sell our last house, it took the best part of two years all told, although we did take it off the market at one point for quite a while ((((((((((((((x))))))))))))

Ton my friend was telling me her friends in Portugal have been trying to sell their house for two and a half years. Problem is they now can't afford to buy back over here anyway

I love having the second living room here. Their second room - like our's - was supposedly the dining room. Our kitchen is large enough for the table to fit in but I think in their design you'd only get a small-ish table so they extended off the kitchen. The family down the road in the same design house have knocked the kitchen and dining room into one.
John mentioned a conservatory a while ago but there's no point really - we'd have virtually no garden left for a start, and we've got enough rooms We're planning on extended the patio in the Spring though. It's large enough to put a table on in the Summer as it is but there's a dead-end gap between the side of the house and the garden wall where we keep the bins, twirly washing line when not in use, watering cans, hose etc and you have to squeeze past the table every time you go up there, or have to move the table and chairs to get the bins out.

We can see it from our house and have always liked the look of it. Pity there aren't any inside photos though.

We saw this one over 3 years ago - but they now have sorted the pool out, found some more land from somewhere and dropped the price.

if it's still for sale when we visit the area in May, we'll have a proper look.

They're both lovely Ton, the second one looks quite cheap for what you get! Love all of the greenery around the first one
