That is how much our government and London borough councils spent on Olympic tickets to send Ministers and top Council officials to see top events. You might not have seen this as it was hidden behind the Algeria hostage crisis - a good time to bury bad news.

That is a misuse of public funds. It is our money and the individuals involved should be made to pay every penny back.

Crazy - hope the recipients get taxed on the value of the tickets as benefits-in-kind ..... won't hold my breath though.

What gets me is the fact that the people who decide to spend public funds in such a way
haven't the sense to realise that they are doing something wrong - misappropriation of
taxpayers' money.
