Wet here but clearing up and getting windier.
There was an earthquake in Winchester last night but nothing felt here
Bb's gone to collect the pooter

The wall is painted and by the look of it it won't need another coat though I won't really know that until it is completely dry so I will make the decision in the morning.

So now I'm about to attempt to hoover - one part of her carpet looks awful as it has been covered by a rug and the back of the rug has sort of bobbled into the carpet. Fortunately the rug is going back down again. It really all needs shampooing but will have to wait until we shampoo the lounge - then I can hire the machine for the weekend and have a go at all the carpets.

I'm hoping to at least get the chest of drawers, bed, desk and sofa bed back in position today.

Then when L wakes up we will light the fire and watch a movie.

The fire and film sound a good idea Debih, my walk is looking increasingly unlikely, it has gone extremely dark now and the rain has turned into a storm with really strong wind

It's wind and rain here - and cold with it. My morning walk was shorter than usual.

I'm having to go back to the dentist this afternoon. I have a huge ulcer under the new crown and my gums are a really deep red - some sort of infection maybe?
