Morning all, it's quite dull looking out there. Up early as usual as the builders are usually here around 8am. I have a busy looking list for the day - starting a course of Pilates at 11am, have to drop something to Miss Osc's house, collect dry cleaning and drop in laundry (washing machine not operational yet), do the supermarket shop, make some phone calls. The builders will be working out on the terrace today so the hatch will be opened and closed lots, making it a bit chilly inside. I think Mr Osc is going to play golf if it doesn't rain. Aren't we lucky that we don't get anything like the weather on the east coast of the US  Have a good day everyone :D

Morning all - an OK day here this morning; sun trying (but not quite succeeding) to break through the clouds; but they're expecting the morning to stay dry and max temps of 9 degrees; all rather balmy really.

Usual work day for me; as always looking forward to 5.30 when I can head home again

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Enjoy your walk Ally :)

Ria, I hope 5.30 comes quickly for you ;)

Osc, we are lucky to live in a more temperate climate! 8-)

No big plans today, apart from my walk, and possibly popping to see D later. I'll be looking for a nice card for H in town, and possibly a couple of bits and bobs to wrap up, he's 15 this weekend and mainly just wants money   We're going over on Saturday to take him and his dad out for lunch, his actual birthday is Sunday but he's playing footie that day ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Mornng all. Another day of painting for me.

The carpet fitter is due sometime to relay the kitchen flooring which has bubbled.

I feel rough - the cold has a hold!

Both feel a bit rubbish, but fighting the colds off. Will be dragging himself out for a slow walk down to the village and a coffee on the way back.

Hope you all have a good day, and the sun shines for you xx

Good morning all.

It's dull but dry here now.
I'm popping up the road now for a short back and sides (overdue but fashionable  )
Then we're going to have a look round a garden centre.

Hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Good morning all, it's dull here but quite mild. Billy's had his walk and now I'm waiting for my Ikea delivery, it'll be here sometime between 10 and 4. I've got some online shopping, or at least browsing, to do so I can get that done while I'm waiting. My friend's daughter turns 18 next week so I want a necklace for her I think, and then it's Tom's 18th a couple of days later and he's having driving lessons as his main present from us but I want to get him a nice watch. I can tat around in the kitchen while waiting too, I might make some brownies.

Have a good day all, and I hope the poorlies feel better soon xx
