Thanks WM, but I don't know if we'«re worrying too much. It's just annoying - i have all his numbrs over here - just not Gem.s

My other thought is contacting a removal firm, which she uses constantly - they could get in touch with her, maybe. Bill is alwats maoning about how much she spends, sending him stuff he dosn't want.

I don't want to worry them, especially if Bill is ill or whatever.

Or he may have run away with Dagmar      Although I doubt it

Thank you all for your concern.

We heard today that Bill is coming back a week on Sunday - the person I spoke to had no idea why he'd stayed so long in England.

But rest assured that Grumpy will be ringing his bell, early on Monday to find out how he is.

But do it gently... otherwise he might like it.

Great news from loving neighbours, I discovered yesterday that a neighbour down the road fell down the stairs, lay there all night, managed to ring a friend the following morning. Regardless of her protest they called an ambulance. She has a broken back, her immediate neighbours were away. We are mortified that she lay alone, hurt, and unable to contact anyone. I have a medical alarm system for emergencies but I never wear the neck piece. I suppose I should. Any one in UK can obtain one through the Council. Yesterday Gus and I sent her a card. Hope to go and visit next week.
