I won't be taking L to hospital. I will be trudging through it to get to work.

Morning everyone :)

No snow here Debih, thank goodness!! Take care in yours, and I hope L is ok (((((x)))))

Enjoy the sunshine Ally and Ton 8-) 8-) :D

No snow, as mentioned, but it looks pretty murky out there, so it's anyone's guess  No big plans today, other than my usual walk - B has no uni on Wednesdays but is back to work this afternoon for a 4 til 8 shift. She might come out with me, she's up already so I'll ask her in a minute 8-)

Di have a brilliant day out as a "Lady Wot Lunches" :D :D Enjoy meeting up with Ria later

Hoping that Mr Paddypix is recovering well, and that Osc and MrO are settling well into their new home xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Dull here, too soon to tell what the day will bring, but E tells me the forecast is rain/snow for this afternoon around 3ish :?

Be careful in the snow debih. Enjoy the day in London Di :D

Off to the hairdresser in a minute, really meant to try a different one, wasn't too impressed last time. Oh well the colour and cut was okay so I'll just have to redo the blow dry if necessary.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Lucy said her wrist was much better this morning - I'm not sure if that was connected with school being closed and the possibility of getting out in the snow. She wasn't happy when I told her that she wouldn't be going sledging!

The walk to work was horrible. The snow up by us was fine - nice and crisp and thick. The shortest route down to the next road is down a narrow, steep pathway and I opted to go this was as it has a handrail the whole way down. It was so wet and slushy I slid most of the way. Down on the next level the snow was much slushier and by the time I got down to the main road it was just horrible and wet. I got drenched by both the sleet and the slush from the road every time a lorry came past. Very cold and very wet by the time I got to work.

Its snowing thick and heavy again now.

Morning all - a rather damp and miserable grey day here, no snow for us and none expected either. Temperature wise it's meant to be warmer than yesterday but because it's so damp it feel a lot colder - brrrrr

Usual work day for me and then dinner with Di

Debih, do you have proper snow boots? If not you should get yourself some; they really keep your feet nice and warm and more importantly dry and you have decent grip. Good ones aren't the cheapest, but given that you do get snow every year they'd be well worth the money

thinking of Paddypix and her OH, and hope he's doing better each day.

Vibes to all those that need them

have a lovely day everyone else - stay warm and dry xxx

The boots sound a good suggestion Ria 8-) Debih that sounds a bit scary, take care so you don't end up in A&E with Lucy  :?

Jen I hope the haircut is more successful this time :)

Morning Loz :) xxxx

My boots are fab but I realised today that they need replacing as the tops have started to split.

They are yard boots - massive big soles, furry inside and brilliant grips. I will be purchasing more in the sales in the Spring.

Our lanes and pathways are so steep nothing will help really.
