Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 20 Jan 2015, 07:06

Good morning. :D

The sun is creeping up slowly. :D

Going for a run after my coffee. :D

Back home to mark yesterday's exam papers - I've decided to mark them daily rather than do them all on Friday.

Work 4 - 9...more exams!

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)

Ally that sounds like a sensible plan ;) Oh heck Ton, hope the rain stops soon xxxx

Di I saw you've booked another holiday, where are you off to? :)

Cold here again this morning, brrrrr!!!! Becks staggered out of the house before 7 for her train to Bristol and the first day of the new term, Mick has also just left for Bristol and the dentist, so the house has suddenly gone very quiet 8-) I have cleaning to catch up on, Mick slipped on the stairs with a mug of tea earlier, luckily didn't burn himself but the poor carpet needs attention :? I'll be out for a walk later, didn't get one yesterday as on my way into town I was in a hurry for my meeting. and on my way home I had too much to carry!

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning all - a bit of a chilly start to the day, but a beautiful morning really; blue skies and no wind (so no frozen ears walking over the bridge to work  )

Ton, hope the rain stops soon - is this normal "rain season" for you?
Ally, agree with Kaz - marking every day sounds a lot more sensible than saving it all for one day
Kaz, glad Mick didn't hurt himself when he slipped and hope you get the carpet cleaned up. Enjoy the walk later - hopefully the weather is as nice where you are as it is here; perfect for a walk

Wonder how Osc's and Mr Osc's first night in their new house was?

Have a lovely day all - stay warm and dry

And of course, vibes to those who need them

Morning all. Really frosty here this morning with snow forecast for tonight.

Work for me until 12pm and then I am off for a proper go at running along the canal - no dog and the couch to 5k app on my phone.

This afternoon and evening I shall probably be lying in a darkened room, recovering!

Morning :)
Cold and frosty here but actually quite dark rather than bright and sunny.

Not much you can do when it's raining there is there Ton, it tends to really hammer down!
B's back to earth with a big bump then Kaz :D Glad M's ok, shame about the carpet though x.
Bb's last coffee mug decided to explode when it was completely full of black coffee, but after he'd carried it into the l/room from the kitchen so the whole lot went over the carpet
Meriad it's a beautiful view over that bridge on a nice day isn't it :)
Ally exam marking instead of lesson plans then, a bit tedious I expect x

Yes Kaz we're off again :D
When we got back from Spain I said how lovely it would be to go again for a week around March, when we're always totally fed up with the seemingly endless winter.
So we decided to save like mad, whatever we could - literally cash in a bag. I was beginning to think we wouldn't manage it because the flights were far too expensive (£270-£300 just for flights), then suddenly on Saturday one Wednesday flight dropped right down to £27.99 each, so I checked the price on the return date and grabbed them for a total of £148 :D
I knew there were 2 or 3 reasonably-priced apartments available, and last night got one of those, and our stash of cash is paying for it all :D

Hope there's news from Paddypix today, am thinking of her

Good morning everybody
Going to pick mrs.e up shortly after her having aromatherapy
Hugs and vibes for paddypix and anybody else who needs them.
Took 15 minutes to de-ice the car this morning. It has not been moved since Saturday.
Lots of clouds and it is still cold
