The dress is the orange one worn by 'Beverley' played by a young Alison Steadman (mine was virtually identical but green instead of orange) You never actually saw Abigail, she was the daughter of one of the guests, but her (teenage) party was the reason the neighbours were having a dinner party..... :lol:

It is a brilliant play by Mike Leigh, on the social mores and snobberies of the 1970s ;) :lol:
