Well, I cooked the cheeks in the slow cooker yesterday and had some for dinner tonight; using this recipe; and I must say it was absolutely superb and definitely something I'll be making again. So easy to do with minimal prep (the only thing I did do and not sure if I had to or not is try and remove a bit more of the sinew / fat off the meat)

Ria, I like to be adventurous when cooking...... but some things are beyond me.

Pigs cheeks are well out of my comfort zone.

That sounds gorgeous meriad - I think I'd have removed it too, the ones I got from Waitrose had nothing on them apart from meat ;)

Wm they're just like any other stewing-type meat but leaner than most :)

Frank - I promise that I am not an adventurous person when it comes to 'funny' meats but these really really were delicious.

As Di said; they are just like any other meat and after 8 hours on low they were so incredibly soft and just totally amazing

I think they are one of the best cuts.
