Morning all :D

It's quite bright here but we still have a lot of snow on the ground although it does look to be thawing a bit. The main roads were clear yesterday so I'm guessing it's just the side roads which are so slippery now.

We managed to stock up well yesterday morning and I made a loaf of bread and a fruit cake so won't need to venture out today. Poor Mr.J on the other hand has gone out to slide round for the papers

Hope you all stay safe and have a good day :D

Morning all. I might make some soup today too. I have some chorizo to use up.
Just an update on my hearing...still no improvement, so I'm still backwards and forwards to the hospital for tests etc. I'll let you know how it continues, but won't give a daily update ;)
Good luck with your your new diet Kaz and keep safe and warm everyone x

 LOL saundra - I bought a load of lentils in the supermarket today for soup :) Di is right, milk powder seems to be in almost anything ready made! I've bought lots of fresh ingredients to make my own soups, goats cheese and more goats milk. Lots of spuds and rice which are fine :) Tons of fruit and veg, even more than usual! I even found some dark chocolate with no milk or wheat warning as a little treat to be eaten a square at a time, and plain Kettle crisps have no additives, just sunflower oil and potato so I have a few little treats to keep me on the straight path   Di I will post on the Kitchen board later as I have some queries for you :)

It's chilly out, but most of the muck and slush on the pavements is gone 8-) :D

(((((Loz))))) Will be thinking of you, take care xx

Good evening, all.

Sorry I'm late, but I've only just found time to pop in.

The footpaths here are most icy, and we have to go out in pairs to hold each other up.

Been messing about with my laptop all afternoon, sorting out the problems getting some of my XP programmes
to run properly - with success, happily.

More snow is forecast for us, so we're making no plans for tomorrow.

Kind regards to you all.
Aggers

Kaz, when I had to do the dairy free thing for Sasha when she was a baby, I discovered that the budget/shop brand labelled foods didn't tend to have the milk in it.
