Morning all, there was a heavy frost overnight but temperatures rose pretty quickly and it's a reasonable enough day with the odd shower. We are so far ahead of ourselves with the packing that we actually are sitting here wondering what to do!! Shortly we will load up the car, pick up a quick lunch somewhere, and then out to Howth, where SIL will help Mr. Osc carry down the bed to our house from where we have it stored. Apparently the living area is being cleaned this morning, so we don't need to be there until after 2pm. Might unpack some kitchen stuff too.

Back here for our last night, pasta with chicken, and Call the Midwife back tonight :D :D Hope B has a good journey home, Kaz, you will be so glad when she is back on home soil! Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all, just checking in while I'm waiting for John to get out of the shower. He's just back from his bike ride and once he's out the cottage pie will be ready to dish up.

It's cold here and as just brightened up slightly after a very foggy few hours. Billy and I had a lovely walk though and he saw lots of his doggy friends :)

Lazy afternoon I think, yesterday was quite a full and busy day. Especially as we had to clean carpets on two floors (plus one flight of stairs) seeing as Tom and M managed to have a few days of treading mud in and spilling food and drinks, includng what looked like quite an amount of sweet and sour sauce on the stairs and downstairs hall :x

Kaz, hope that B has a good journey home!

Have a good day all!

That's our girl Ally
Saundra nice to have the sun anyway :)
Good luck Osc :)

Good job we got a chicken out of the freezer for tonight, friend D appeared just as I was on my way out - emergency trip down as the boiler's broken down at the house she rents out. She's got someone going tomorrow but brought some heaters down - then realised she had the wrong set of keys so couldn't get into her own house down here so needed our spare set.
She's staying down tonight so is coming for dinner - cue quick clean of cloakroom and Bb now has to sort his work out some more ;) :D
