Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 16 Jan 2015, 07:33

Good morning. :D

Looks nice out there again. :D :D

Day 12 of the Jantastic challenge and another run will be notched up after my coffee. :D :D

Later on we're off to buy a new washing machine - hoping I won't have a melt down as I detest white good shopping. :x

I'm still traumatised from buying the fridge-freezer 2 years ago.

Friday night beers and tapas will help matters somewhat.

Have a great day. :D

Mornng all. Quite nice here so far.

I'm making a Hairy Bikers pir this morning - using mashed potatoes in the pastry! Then taking Millie out.

I'm off to a funeral this afternoon. My friends mum who died on xmas day. No idea why it's been so long for the funeral.

Need to decide whether or not to go out tonight. It's hard to muster up the enthusiasm when it's cold and dark.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment 8-)

The market is beginning to pick up and we're off out for another viewing this morning. Keeping an open mind, but hoping that while we're finding more to look at so are the apartment vendors. Either way we're bound to find something we like sooner rather than later this time of year.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Rain, rain and yet more rain - but it is supposed to stop and then get cold and frosty tonight, A few days without the wet stuff would be so nice.

Ally I'm with you, all those choices...does my head in  :D
Debih your poor friend, all this delay won't be helping her (((x)))
Good luck Jen, yes we've noticed a few more signs going up around here too :)

Bb's working this morning but should be back about lunchtime so I think we're going into town for some odds and ends.
Before that I shall be trying to be a bit more energetic than yesterday, when I did almost nothing except make dinner!
Hope you all have a good day

Morning everyone :)

Happy washing machine hunting Ally ;)

Jen the market is always very slow in December and over the NY then picks up a lot - you should find a lot more choice coming soon s good luck! 8-)

Debih that's what happened with my mum who also died on Xmas Day, the Xmas and NY week slow official things down a lot and it is very hard, the waiting (((x)))

Hope you have a nice afternoon with Bry, Di. Mick has another day off today, in fact we've only been awake for about 20 mins and are just about to have brekkie

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all - thankfully a dry start to the day today, but the local radio station is predicting doom and gloom for the next few days. Apparently we're in for possible wintery showers, ice and dropping temperatures - I'm of a mind to contact them to remind them that it is January (and therefore Winter) and therefore the stuff they are predicting is actually quite normal and to stop making such a hoo-hah out of it.

I don't mind shopping for white goods; obviously things may be different over your way Ally but generally I know what my basic criteria is and then do online research, look up reviews and compare prices and then order online - easy peasy

Debih; that really has dragged on for your friend; poor her. But hopefully after today she can get some closure and move forwards.
Jen, good luck with the house hunting - hopefully the market is picking up and you have lots of options come available
Kaz, Di & Ton, enjoy your days - they sound lovely

Usual work day for me, although bossman is out so nice and quiet and I'm hoping to leave a bit earlier :D

Have a lovely day all - stay dry, warm and enjoy whatever it is you're up to xxx

Morning Ria :) Hope you have a nice quiet day without the boss around, and get home early to start your weekend :D

You are right about the weather stuff, I actually shouted "Well, it IS January!" at the TV weather lady last night

Good morning, all.

It's a lovely morning here. I'm off to the doctors again soon - this time to have my ears de-waxed.

Then a good walk and a bit of shopping.

Ally - I admire the amount of exercise you manage to do. No wonder you look so fine.

Have a good day everyone.
