 Ossie that's an atrocious price for a dry cut :? I pay £14.50 for a dry cut in Supercuts, and like Jo's they style it afterwards! It is twice that, £29.50 for a wash cut and blowdry :?

Besides those basins where you go right back over the basin hurt my neck, and I'm not convinced that isn't what caused my funny turn last May with my eyesight etc - there have been cases of people having funny turns after using those basins, as they can damage the neck and cause a problem with blood flow. It's called Beauty Parlour Syndrome :? My first one was only a couple of hours after having my hair done, and she was rough with my neck that time :? I only had one more 'bad' one after that, several weeks later and again my neck was hurting that day :?

I don't like them either. The last time I had a wash, cut and blow dry was nearly 6 years ago when I had my hair cut short from a shoulder length bob. That was around £25 back then, same salon (although it moved) that I use now but a different owner - the new owner isn't flying off to the Caribbean every few months

Ossie, I did wonder if it was because it was a bit posh up your way ;)

I'm surprised that some of these hairdressers are still in business.

So many women today just seem to let their hair keep getting longer and longer,
all in the name of fashion, I suppose.

Many men are the same, I must admit.

I'm growing mine at the moment, so it can be worn up to suit the style of dress I've bought for the wedding in Cyprus, so haven't had mine cut since early September  It's the longest I've had it in years!

Girls had their hair cut this afternoon.

2 x dry trims = £26.

There's only me who pays for haircuts in our house, I cut Tom's, Joe's and John's (although his is a job that's getting quicker and quicker to do :P )
