Morning all :D

It absolutely lashed down in the night, but it's dry now, not sure how long for though. If it stays dry in the next hour we'll take the risk and pop over to Westwood Cross for a whiz round M&S.

Glad you feel better kaz :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

I just replied and then got an internal server error and lost the lot!

Still windy here but not as bad, lovely and bright at the moment but it keeps changing, wish it would stick on sun :D
Kaz hope you find your essay while you're out :D Glad you're feeling better xx
Forgotten what else now...

I've been faffing all morning, and might just carry on faffing :D

Morning all! It's quite sunny and very windy here at the minute but the sky doesn't look too good over in the Birmingham direction.

I went to the gym first thing but haven't yet walked Billy, it started raining as soon as I got back so I had my shower and then tatted around doing some jobs. Noticed that I'll need to clean the hall carpet at the weekend as someone has trodden mud in. I know it's not John or myself as we always come in through the back door and if it had been Billy then there would've been mud down the other end of the hall by the kitchen door, and indeed through the kitchen, Joe came in through the back after school last night too so that just leaves two suspects  I thought hoovering it might lift it but it hasn't. What made it even more annoying was that before I could even try hoovering it I had to cut one of the suspect's hair out of the Dyson brush bar again.

Shopping tonight so I need to work out the daily menus for the next week.

Glad you're feeling better Kaz!

Have a good day all!

We are getting roughly half-hourly brilliant spells of sunshine between bouts of heavy rain now Jo, it might be coming your way  It's raining now so as soon as it stops I am taking my chances - with my hooded jacket on and brolly at the ready :P 8-)

Di I hope I find it too :P

Afternoon all, it was sunny but very windy earlier but now the forecast rain has arrived and we are having very gusty squalls. We went into town this morning and luckily got home before the rain. I got a text telling me my new glasses are ready but I don't fancy going out again in that weather so will leave that until the morning - I have enough to keep me occupied, ironing and packing plus no doubt I will be getting more phone calls, I've already had quite a few with updates. I think that if we had decided to move in a few weeks all this stuff would still be last minute

Got a new coat while in town, will post about it on the Boutique board. Enjoy your day everyone and stay safe from the weather :)

Good evening everybody.
Went to the dentist this morning for check up and polish. No problems. Then to bank and some shopping. Had visitors this afternoon.
Been cold with the wind but sunny. Wore my overcoat which I have had for over 20 years. Got it in a sale when a local clothing factory was closing.

The forecast was right and the rain stopped earlier so Billy's had his long walk - flippin' heck, I was regretting it as soon as we stepped outside though, the wind is brutal and so cold!

I just about managed to get to town in between showers :D I bought Mick and Harry nice linen-look granddad-style shirts for the wedding, both bargains in the sale in Debenhams :D :D

Then I walked home, via D's, again dodging the weather as just after I got home the heavens opened again, and it's suddenly terrifically windy  :?
