We're off down to the village, need the bank to sign some papers, then book tomorrows dinner and get a few bits and bobs. And a coffee on the way back :D :D

morning all :D

Happy birthday to your dad Ally - hope he has a lovely day

usual work day for me - got in a bit late because of the trains, but ho hum. And just hope whatever snow there is stays away this part of the world because it won't be enough to stop the trains so I can stay home; all it'l do is seriously disrupt most services resulting in huge delays.

Have fun at your craft group tonight Debs - what's on the agenda for making?

Have a lovely day everyone and stay warm and dry xxx

I am currently knitting a bright pink (and I mean bright) snood scarf for L. I am hoping to finish it tonight as the colour is making my eyes go funny!

We usually have craft group at the same place each month (perfect for me as it is my friend who lives just a few doors down from us so not far for me to walk) but tonight we are going to another friends house to look at the quilt she finished making. She has sewn each individual square by hand and we have watched her sew most of them at craft group. Back in October we had craft group at hers so we could help her decide where to place each square and tonight we are going to look at the finished thing.

We keep talking about doing a joint project - a map of the village as a wall hanging - but haven't gotten around to starting it yet.

I have to say very little craft is done at our craft group! I often don't even take my knitting out of my bag. We do however do quite a lot of wine and cake tasting!

Morning :)
Lovely and cold and bright here, it's so good to see blue sky :D

Happy Birthday Ally's dad :D xx
My friend D's brthday today too :)

Debih I guess if nothing else it does make you have something on the go - the quilt is a lovely idea :)
I knitted a s/niece a pair of bright pink handwarmers (the ones from the Knitty gritty book Ally) and you're right, it does make your eyes go funny :D

Nothing much planned again here, Dr this afternoon - we were supposed to discuss the bp business well before Christmas but finally got around to booking a non-urgent appoiontment.
Hope the weather's not too unkind for anyone

Morning all :D

I was going to say it's wet and miserable here, but looks like the sun's trying to peep out right now.

Happy birthday to your dad Ally :D

Love the sound of your craft group debih, well the wine and cake really

Nothing on at the cinema either of us are really keen to see today, always cheap tickets on a Tuesday, but we've decided to go out for a late lunch anyway.

Hope you all have a good day :D
