Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 09 Jan 2015, 06:31

Good morning. :D

Enjoying a coffee before my daily donning of trainers.

Meeting a friend in town later for a mooch round the shops and a spot of lunch. :D

The usual beers and tapas tonight - looking forward to catching up with the crowd and hearing all the news. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally :)

Our weekend starts today, Mick has booked most of the Fridays between now and April off as annual leave, to use it up 8-) :) Not sure what we are doing yet, it looks wet and murky out there again  ;)

Have a good day all :) xx

Morning :)
A fairly bright start here although there has been yet more rain, and very windy.

Bb's plan for today has changed, as yesterday 3 huge boxes were delivered. This is the first batch of stuff for the year's big job; there's loads of bits, so he needs to sort it all into packs for the 3 different areas, work out how best to store it all so it's easy to get what he needs each time, and get it organised on his work laptop, etc.
So he's going to be doing that, then have a break for us to go into town (and to do the hoovering!).
I shall be pootling :D

Kaz you live in a lovely part of the country, why not treat each of those Fridays as a proper day's holiday?
Go on tripadvisor or something, and pick a different village/town to visit each Friday, some weeks take the dogs somewhere nice out in the country for a good long walk when it's fine?
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :D

It's quite bright here today. We've got a viewing at 11am and if it stays nice and dry we'll probably have a stroll along the promenade at Minnis Bay afterwards. Must say it's like being on a permanent holiday living here, always somewhere nice to go :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Another gorgeous, albeit slightly chilly, start to the day :D

We're off to Faro later, as I have to have another squishing :( could be gone hours, so taking books and water

After that? Dunno - sit on the front step with a beer or two, probably :D

Have a good day everyone - Kaz, good idea from Di xx

Good morning, all.

It looks quite bright and sunny outside, but I'm not planning on going out.
I'm going to have a go at our annual budget for 2015 - that will keep me busy for a while.

Hope you are all' in good form.

Morning all, it was very stormy last night and is still very windy, plus rain seems to be coming in now. My brother is coming from Cork to stay the night - I'll bring him to Howth to see our house, then we are going to my sister's house for tea. Sis is minding Michael today so it will be a nice way for my brother to see him plus Miss Osc when she comes to collect M. Kellie will be with SIL's aunt today (long story, SIL's sister having an op today plus her little girl due to have an op too so he and his mum are helping out with transport etc.) We might be having M and K overnight tomorrow so Miss Osc and SIL can have a long overdue and much needed night out.

Off to do some ironing while waiting for my brother to arrive, Mr Osc's golf might be cancelled if it doesn't stop raining. Have a good day everyone :D

Good luck with the viewing Jen :)

Ton good luck with the squishing ((x))

Good morning Aggers :)

Osc that will be nice, having the grandchildren 8-)

Di we've already got today sorted, but we might well in future if the fancy takes us ;) It is very pretty round here, but M can't walk too far without somewhere to sit if his knee/ankle/foot problems play up ;) He can't manage Painswick Beacon any more which is a shame as I used to enjoy that, with the dogs...... We tend to stick to the town, where you can find a sit down and not too many hills...

And we're back :D :D :D

The hospital picked something up from my last squish, in October, so wanted to have another look - so had another squish and then a scan too.

Thankfully, all clear, but they will get me back in 2 years.

Kaz, Grumpy has trouble with his knees and takes cloreto de magnesium. You may be able to get something similar over there - it works a treat for him :D

You need one of those foldy up chairs for such occasions, or a rug so you can sit on the grass....there's always a solution for things if you really want to do it ;) :D

Hardly slept all night, such strong winds blasting against our bedroom window! I thought they were going to cave in!! :( Then the main motorway that runs past our village was closed because of this

Image

A shed had blown over and across both carriageways....so traffic built up in the villages and towns....a trip to town that would usually take ten minutes took well over half an hour today :| It's D's birthday on Sunday so I needed a card and a gift for her. Got some nice perfume in River Island for less than half price! :D Didn't know till I got to the till.....also got her a couple of little bits that I know she'll love. 'Glamma' has the children (for the first time) tonight as D and J are going to their friends' for a meal and a few drinks :)

Made a hasty trip to Aldi and then home. Not feeling too hot atm, no idea why but I hope it goes quick! :|

Love to all xxxxxxx
