Good morning Sunday

Good morning. :D

Gorgeous again. 8-) 8-)

My lot are in for a shock when they get up - I've taken the tree and decs down!

After my coffee I'm going for a killer hill yomp. :D :D

Back to phone mum, make jambalaya and then chill out with some TV and reading. :D :D

Have a good day everyone. :D

Morning!

We must take all our decs and tree down today. I don't know about the outside ones though, as we have had a very very heavy frost.
That might have to wait. Just a normal quiet Sunday for us and I'm glad I don't have to go out anywhere. Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Rodo and everyone

Gorgeous out there this morning :D

Already been accosted    We have a JW chucrch a couple of doors down and although the locals leave us alone, their visitors do not   Just walking down to the bin and this bloke tried shoving a pamphlet in my hand - as both hands were full, rather difficult

Pootling, inside and out today.

Our decs came down yesterday, so needed to dust everywhere

Have a good day everyone xx and safe journey to B, with a special hug to Kaz xx

Morning :)
Rather dull but not as dark as yesterday and not raining, hurrah! :D

I made a start on the decs yesterday, we'll get the rest down and put away today.
Other than that, a bit of shopping - W/rose have their chickens half price so I grabbed one of those and we'll have a proper roast dinner tonight, need more veg as usual.
Will have a look in a minute and see what Lidl's half-price weekend offers are, if they're not worth a trip I'll just go into town and see if I can get a calendar too :)
Hope you all have a good day and good luck to B - and Kaz :)

Morning all. Gorgeous sunny frosty morning.

I was planning a lazy day but we've just been invited to a friends for late lunch. I'm not feeling very sociable but will be fine when we get there.

Everyone else is still in bed - I've just got back with the dog.

All our decs came down yesterday. I've had a lovely two weeks off but am now looking forward to normality tomorrow.

Morning all :D

We've been very lazy and only just surfaced. Just about to sit down with brekkie and read the papers.

Our tree is coming down this afternoon too. It's always a bit messy, although it has hardly dropped any needles at all so far it's bound to when we start pulling it about

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning, all.

We have spent the morning taking down and packing away all the Christmas decorations.
Our lounge looks twice as big now. I now have to decide what to do with my lovely 90th
birthday cards - Mrs A has bought me a scrapbook for the purpose, but I don't think I can
get all the cards and our holiday photos in it. But I love a challenge!

Hope you are all well.

Afternoon all, heavy frost last night but all gone and it's just a bit dull now. I'm continuing to feel better and was itching to go dancing this afternoon, but our car is feeling poorly and we didn't want to risk it breaking down while we were out. However a good dancing friend has come to the rescue and is giving us a lift :D :D We've had a lovely roast chicken dinner (had it early as we won't want to cook when we get home). The tree and decs are down and I did a complete vacuuming around afterwards. Off now to beautify myself, full make up and I even have a new dress to wear :D , our friend is picking us up in just over half an hour. Dancefloor here I come!!

Afternoon everyone :D

Well the day has gone very smoothly, a dream of a journey down to Heathrow as the motorways were very quiet. dropped the girls at T5, then took a chance on H and the ex being in as I received a belated gift for H yesterday. They were in, so we stayed for a quick cuppa and a chat, then went to meet Chris. We had an absolutely gorgeous Sunday roast at the pub nearby, then hit the road for the journey home, and again the journey was really quick.

Of course I had to go and track the flight didn't I, and it's been delayed for almost an hour!! They have a split journey via Frankfurt so I hope the delay isn't any more, as they have another plane to catch :?  I was doing fine until then.................. :?
