new car hunting tomorrow :P :P :P :P :P

I know what I'd like, but we can't afford it, so we're probably going to go for a Peugot , corsa or another Citreon.

We'll only look........................

There are 4 places to look at, on the way to Olhao. One is cheap rubbish (my opinion) and one if very expensive, also my opinion. The other two both look good. We'll get Ze, our car mechanic or Jose, who helps him, to look over whatever we decide on.

But it's really just a looking at exercise.

Our car passed it's mot, we can tax it next week for the year and it will only cost us about 54 euros, but it's petrol, the speedo hasn't worked for years, the air-con only works in the winter      and although I'd prefer an automatic, we'll, sensibly, have to go with a manual.

Debih, it would an automatic Freelander, Grand Vitara or a very old Merc, of which you see so many over here.

Grumpy would love an old Merc, and we could pick one up for about 5,000 euros :P :P :P :P

Well now, after my latest motorbike experience I am thinking of a new car......

My neighbour, Lorna, has a Peugeot 107.... last of the line... but it does the job. Then there is the Hyundai i10.... or maybe a Skoda Fabia.....

Choices, choices.....

When we were last in England, we hired Pegeot, 207 I thinkj.

Lovely car to sit in, Grumpy insisted on driving

But this was nearly 5 years ago.

Still like the idea of an old Merc - there are so many around here, no rust, chain instead of wotsits and they go on for ages.

Exciting anyway Ton :D
I only get interested in cars when I have to find a new one

Wm the one we got (secondhand) is a Renault modus, it was ever so cheap, we're both really happy with it and it has brilliant reviews :)

It will definately be 2 or 3 rd hand.

My only new car - and I saved like mad for it - was a Jimny. And I also bought a few extras, loved the car, ideal for what I wanted then.
