Charity shop perhaps Saundra? They'd love them, I'm sure :) ;)

Glad the poorlies are feeling better :D

Did the shopping we needed at Morrisons, and Mick and H had a huge cooked all-day breakfast in the café there, so I'll get away with not cooking later - there's a lot of cold stuff to 'pick' from :D We also popped into Screwfix on the way home, both hoses in both showers have split over the last couple of days, so needed replacing  Mick has fixed them already :) New sealant for round B's bath too - I hardly ever go in 'her' bathroom but did so yesterday to put clean towels and stuff out for H and noticed then the sealant was looking yukky  She probably hasn't been cleaning it thoroughly enough, so I'll need to speak to her about that when she gets home

Looking forward to a quiet afternoon now :)

Good afternoon.
Well I think it is.
Not sure what year it is, never mind the day or time!!
Arrived home about ten a.m this morning after flying back from our cruise.
Will be back late with some news and possibly some pics.

Good evening all!

It's been a sunny but icy day here. I waited until this afternoon to take Billy, the footpaths had defrosted a little by then, at least on the hill outside our house anyway, around the corner was a different matter. John's gone cycling in mid-Wales, I'm a bit sniffly but hoping that First Defence has worked it's magic with this cold. I spent the morning reading and then trying to fix stuff. We'd had no Sky HD channels since it snowed and John was saying that the dish was probably iced up but I did a bit of research and the Sky Box and router needed rebooting - all channels are now back. I haven't been able to fix the problem on my laptop though. When I plug in headphones to listen to anything, rather than the speaker sound automatically muting, it comes out of both the headphones and speaker and searching around the net for a solution only brings me to other Dell laptop owners who have the same problem!

Poll, I'm now itching to get the trees down too!

Saundra, so glad yesterday went well and that the new girlfriend was lovely! :D

well my tree and decs are all gone :D feels good!

We also went to the cinema today to see 'Annie' and it was fab! Went to an independent cinema in Edinburgh that has sofa's, a room full of 2 seaters with stools/pouffe's for feet, so we were very comfy and film was brilliant!

now chilling out with a bit of shortbread :D
