Good morning Christmas Eve Wednesday

Postby Ally » 24 Dec 2014, 06:19

Good morning. :P :P

A gorgeous day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Pootling at home this morning which will include a lot of veggie peeling for tomorrow  then this afternoon the 4 of us are going out for lunch and a few beers. :D

As is the norm over here all bars will close around 6pm and everyone has a family meal at home so we do that too.

We're having prawn and chilli tagliatelle - then the usual Christmas Eve Kitchen Disco will begin.   :P :P :P

Hoping for good news from WM and a very happy birthday to Aggers.

A hug for Debih too.

Have a great day everyone. xx

Morning all. Quite nice here after a night of rain.

Pottering today. Ham is on, sausage rolls to be made when L gets up and veg to be done.

Mum, sis and Roy coming later.

Carols round the tree and a couple of drinks this evening at our favourite pub/hotel. Not sure if mum is going to the midnight service with my friend.

L is already hyper - I've sent her back to bed to watch a movie!

Morning both, morning everyone :)

Well I'm just about ready - am going for a quiet day today, a few bits and bobs to do but nothing much, and then for me the highlight of the season, the Carols from Kings on BBC2 at teatime :D I've watched for many years but that boy soprano singing Once in Royal David's City always sends chills down my spine :) :) :)

Thinking of Frank, hoping he gets home today (((x)))

Have a good day today everyone, and a wonderful Christmas from me and the mister :) :) :) xxxx

Good Morning :)
I was going to have a look round the shops in Canterbury but plans
have changed. :(
It is as black as night and the heavens have opened up and it is
chucking it down.
Decided to go back to bed for a while and see if it improves.

Morning everyone

A gorgeous morning :D :D

Plans here include a haircut for himelf, a stroll down to the village and a coffee, then a beer back home, sat in the front garden 8-)

I'll be doing the curry for tonight before we go (we always have curry on Christmas Eve  ) and I've already taken the pork steaks out for tomorrows bbq :)

Hugs for Debih and hope WM gets home today x

Have a great day everyone, relax and enjoy xx

Morning all, lovely bright day here. We are heading off into town in a while to potter around and soak up Christmas atmosphere. We might eat out or we might not, depends how crowded places are. Relaxing evening at home. Have a lovely Christmassy Christmas Eve everyone :D

Morning all :)
Lovely and bright here too, what a shame Lissie, I do hope it clears up for you xx

Kaz it's my favourite too, Mum and I used to watch together; now I'm often wrapping the last few bits but have never missed it :)
I'm going into town shortly, but if it's too busy will go back just after lunch - nothing like the last minute eh? :D :x

Not sure what we're having for dinner, kind of missed tonight from my meal plan :o :?
Last night's was gorgeous though, I made Thai turkey patties, with rice noodles and veg in a satay-ish sauce :)
Enjoy the day everyone, and special thoughts for WM
