Feeling a bit rubbish, but not too bad. Grumpy brought me up coffee and brandy about 10.00 last night and I zonked out.

We seem to have a mince pie mountain in the utility room

I bought some iced topped ones which looked lovely, so there're 12 of those in all and I have plans to get some filo pastry tomorrow to make the ones which Kaz posted about (really really want to try those)...and then I went into Home Bargains this morning and they had a HUGE display of Mr Kipling ones, dated mid-January, at 29p a box...so there's another 12. I'm planning on reducing the pile when we get back from the pub on Christmas Eve.

Well, it's got me -

I'm wearing 3 layers and still cold, think maybe a medicinal brandy is called for

Same here Ton, although I did say to myself that if I was going to get one then at least let it wait until after Christmas Day and Boxing Day...woke up this morning with a blocked and tingly nose and the sniffles
