Lol Ton hasn't he got rabies yet :D
Bb dropped me at Lidl, isn't it amazing how much stuff you can get there for so much less money :P

The fridge was a brilliant idea Kaz :D
He came back with goodies too, our Christmas pressies from his mum and dad plus a big piece of gammon cut from an even bigger piece they won in a raffle :D

Steeling myself now for curtain hanging and tree etc decorating ;)

Something always happens  Collected the letterbox and brought it to the site, no problem. The younger builder who is Polish says "I have question"... downstairs bathroom is working out tighter than we thought, so I discussed the options with himself and the plumber, phoned Mr Osc, and it was felt that maybe a smaller hand basin would help, so I volunteered to go to the bathroom supplies place and see what they had. I got myself some lunch in the pub next door - didn't want to keep going because I've had some bad migraines recently and not eating can be a trigger. Went to the bathroom place, saw what I wanted, the guy remembered me from when we were pricing it and of course is also dealing with our builder. He called in a favour from the stockist and arranged for it to be delivered to him on Monday, then he will ring our builder. I then rang our builder to pass all this on and headed home.

Then had long phone conversation with the architect about various matters, had a phone call from a courier in Cork who is trying to deliver something to my brother that I ordered for him on Amazon. Had to phone brother to see when he will be home then phone back courier.....how did we manage without mobile phones  :o

Hopefully that's it for the day :D

Oh Kaz, it's awful rowing with your baby girl! :o I know how you must be feeling, I tend to not speak out until I feel calm because frustration/annoyance/irritation for me comes out in tears - and then she gets upset as well! She (J) has been very off lately too....I know she's working at the hotel a lot this week, all evening/late shifts so she isn't getting home till the early hours, and she hasn't had a day off since last Thursday....and she takes it out on me by being really snappy and offhand. She must have been feeling a bit guilty about that, when I got back from shopping yesterday, she'd taken the washing out of the machine and put the whole lot in the tumble drier - eeeek!!! Among my darks wash was a work jumper of Tom's and my good black work trousers......I never tumble those!! I didn't say anything though....I will but later, when she is less snappy/sharp.

Was rudely awakened this morning by the doorbell - my candle bridge being delivered. But it doesn't work :( So I'll have to return it....I got a battery operated one last week but I can foresee having to buy shedloads of batteries - this was a mains one.

Been rushing about madly trying to get all my housey stuff done as I am working Mon, Tues and Wed next week :o If there is anything else I need, I'll have to go to the supermarket after work one night - I stupidly forgot to arrange a home delivery this year, first time in about 6 years!! Grrrrr!!!! Now I have a painful back, painkillers have been taken - hope they kick in soon!!

Grandsons are fab Ton!!! But yep, very hard work!!

I am normally a bit more laid back Gal, but last night I felt really on edge and she just tipped me right over the edge :o All is well now, and I hope your trousers and T's jumper are ok ((x))

I bought a ton of tea lights this year, I have a little tea light holder shaped like a Christmas tree that holds six lights - I think it was in one of the FB pics I put up last weekend. 30 white tea lights for £1.50 in Primark, so that's five night's worth, and I bought another pack of red ones with a nice scent, as well as some special Yankee Candle ones for Christmas Day :D Hope you get your replacement ok :)

I started my wrapping this afternoon - just the outlaws' stuff as D will be going off to Weymouth in a few days for Christmas, and will be taking our pressies with her! Thankfully I bought a lot of tissue paper, ribbon and nice gift bags as I am very clumsy with fiddly stuff  Wrapping, for instance, two giant chocolate shoes, a tin of biscuits shaped like an old-fashioned policeman and another shaped like a racing car would not be easy without them!    :P

Oh I am just getting a refund, too much faff to replace and I doubt I'd get it in time for Christmas now anyway :( It's such a shame, I just thought I'd save some batteries and maybe have slightly brighter lights - ah well.....

We were in Donna's earlier and I got the old familiar twinge to mean an attack of IBS was imminent - cue a quick dash home where I spent ages at the loo and am now feeling very sorry for myself. I've not had any tea but I'm a bit hungry now...worried in case it causes me more pain though if I were to have something to eat...

Glad you and B are ok now - it's not easy living with a grown up daughter at times is it? :| xxxxx

Thanks Kaz....I was in a lot of pain most of the night and was uncertain if I'd make it to work this morning, but I did, just!
