Please spare a thought for her.

Please spare a few good wishes for my eldest Grandaughter
Her Dad has just phoned to say she had a car accident on her way to work
this morning.
She hit some mud on the road and the car flipped over and landed in a ditch
and she was trapped inside
She has been checked out at A&E and is now back home badly bruised and
very shocked.
Her Mum and Sister have been down to Basingstoke to see her.
Both Don and I are very upset at the news as she is still our little girl.

lissie

Yes, terrible enough, but thank goodness it wasn't a lot worse, Lissie.

Hope she makes a full recovery soon.

Oh heck, Lissie, it seems to be the period for these things, as I have found.

It is good to hear that A&E have released her, but please keep an eye on her.

After my recent motorbike accident I thought that my pains were covered by the adrenaline kicking in. It was only later that the real problems presented themselves.

Whatever anyone does do not pass off her complaints as the result of the accident and that things will mend: get her checked out.
