The "red" snow warning, where the major disruption has been, was for the upper reaches of the South Wales Valleys and north towards Brecon. It can be very, very remote up there and they have had over 20 cm of snow in places, with drifting. Anyway, glad to hear they're safe, Ally.

They should be fine when they get round here Ally. The side roads are all bad but most of the main roads are fine. We have more snow forecast to hit our area later this afternoon though.
We are still snowed in, and the lanes and roads are like an ice rink, poor birds sitting waiting for me to put seeds and bread out got them. So much for having the salters out. I had a call from a fellow member of our lodge in Aberystwyth Enquiring about the road conditions as they wanted to come in this direction, I advised against travelling I think however they decided to risk the trip! It looks wonderful but it ends there. I am still tucked up in bed!
Gusty is like a mother hen Kaz, my doc has made an urgent appointment for me to see a cardiologist, hope it doesnt come through over the next few days.. It is snowing heavily again and roads are icy..
