Afternoon troops! 8-)

Yep got my nails done - in the dark black cherry I like but this time with a tiny silver star on both little fingers :D A bit squarer than usual as well, for a change ;) Got on ok at the doc's, will probably pop it on the health board later :) Then I nipped to see D as when my card arrived from A Rose there was one inside for D. Not been home for more than an hour, so I was out nearly all day

Evening all! It's been a nice day here, sunny and much milder..it's pouring down now though!

I've had two poorlies at home with me today, John and Joe. John woke and told me he felt awful so wasn't going into work, he'd planned to drop Joe off this morning so I went in to wake him before his alarm as he'd have to get the bus and he was sniffling and coughing. They've both lay around sleeping on and off and watching TV all day. Top Gear all flippin' day! I walked down to town this morning just to get a loaf and ended up with four bags full. Then Billy and I went over the common for an hour or so and, with the walk to town and back, that was just over 8 miles walked before lunch. I walked him again this afternoon. I've kept out of the way as much as possible as I'm bound to get their lurgy in time for Christmas, I've been using my 8 hour anti-viral hand gel, Dettoxing everything and squirting First Defence

That First Defence is very good! I have been using it myself this past week or so, when I thought I was coming down with a head cold and then on Sunday when T thought another bout was starting, I persuaded him to use it, he did and it eased up! Hope yours stays away Jo x

Back to work yesterday, hence my lack of posting *blush* It's like I've never been off....same old same old....

Good morning all.

Up late this morning, but not planning to go anywhere today.

Saw my GP yesterday about this lingering head and chest cold. He couldn't find anything wrong with me
but gave me a prescription for some penicillin tablets. When the pharmacist warned me that they would
interfere with my Warfarin tablets, and as we are off on our Christmas holiday in a week's time, I decided
to manage without them. I do feel a little better today, so fingers crossed.

Hope you all have a nice day.

Penicillin for a cold ??? Oh Aggers I think you need another GP, on Warfarin too !! Hope you are better soon and suggest Echinacea for a DIY help.
