Merry Christmas to me

Postby debih » 16 Dec 2014, 15:35

When we went on our holibobs in October we passed a very large Pandora shop and I nipped in and got a catalogue showing all their charms. I diligently went through and put crosses through all the ones I already have and big thick circles around all the ones I would like. I then strategically put the little catalogue next to the toaster.

And there it appears to have stayed. It has not moved I am sure. I have told Mick it is there (just in case he missed it when he makes his toast every morning) and what good ideas for Christmas presents are in there. However, I am pretty sure that he has forgotten about it!

So today I had to nip into town after work and as I walked past the jewellers that sells Pandora it started to rain and I had to go in to shelter. It would've been rude not to so I bought myself a little Christmasy charm.

And just in case I bought one that didn't have a big red circle around it in the catalogue.

I have wrapped it up and put it under the Christmas. "To me, from me".

Oh you are wasting your time dropping hints.

The Christmas before last I kept hinting at every opportunity that I would like the music CD from Downton Abbey (the first one with the signature tune etc). Then I saw under the tree a CD wrapped up. I was so excited. On Christmas Day I eagerly unwrapped it and it was a CD of Andre Rieu. :o

There is also a slim (well not so slim actually as I fetched it and wrapped it on her behalf) chance that the dog has bought me a lovely new scarf from the gift shop below our office.

Isn't she just.

She's already been thinking about what I'd like for my birthday.
