A run after my coffee then back to do some flicking of a duster.

Meeting my friend in town for coffee(s) and cake(s)

Work 4 - 9 which will include more Christmas card making for my littlies (a resounding success yesterday) and board games for my older students (another success)

Early start today, got an early GP appointment to see the doc who does the minor ops at our new practice, to see about having a skin thingy removed Then straight on into town to finally get my nails done!! They looked busy yesterday afternoon, and the place gets uncomfortable when it's crowded, so I decided to try earlier Then just the usual walk home and a bit of duster flicking, like Ally said

Morning all. Dark, wet and miserable here this morning.

I'm at work but not really in a work mood. Fortunately I have very little to do (though that does mean it will be a long day until 1pm when I can clear off home). I finish tomorrow until 5th January and I am in holiday mood already.

Home to take Millie out and then finish wrapping. I am feeling rather smug as I have done ALL my Christmas shopping and it is all wrapped, other than the stuff to go in the girls stockings which is this afternoons task. I shall deliver a few presents this weekend and thats it, all done. Smug, smug, smuggity smug.

We are off out for a meal tonight - me, Mick, the girls, my mum and the inlaws. It is FIL's birthday and he is paying so I'm not saying no - even though I'm still cross at them about the cremation. And MIL is still driving me mad about Christmas Day. I have now told her not to bring soup (or any other starter) and to only bring one pudding. No doubt she will completely ignore me. She seems to determined to do Christmas her way!

And when I get home I will be staying up late to watch the final episode of The Missing - I don't want to risk finding out who did it rather than watching it.

Sunshine and clouds this morning - and not too warm either

Did all my duster flicking at the week-end, but might do some oven cleaning and bathroom cleaning - makes all the difference to see extra shiney tiles when some-one views.

Grumpy is off to see Bill later, a neighbour, who is whizzing off to England soon, to wish him Happy Christmas and can we have your papers please (he buys an English paper every day but we get them a month or so afterwards
