That's sort of what I thought, thanks Kaz.

Think I'll wait until (if) we move, then I might just lose her

Yes Kaz is right, blocking is a bit more diplomatic, they might not notice for quite a while ;)

This locking yourself out lark is catching.

Grumpy went to see Bill, a couple of hours ago.

Bill just rang - he locked himself out when Grumpy went round to see him - they've spent the last 2 hours breaking in - without any damage

Bill now has to go and get another lock and Grumpy has to house sit

If you block someone they can't find you on facebook - it is as though you have disappeared from it. They cant see any of your posts, photos, etc nor can they find you if they search for you on it. If another friend tags you in a post and they see that post then your name isn't highlighted to click on (does that make sense).

If you unfriend them facebook doesnt send them a notification or anything. You just disappear from their friends list and the chances are, unless she regularly looks at your stuff, she (or he) probably wont even notice.

I've defriended the lot of you and no one has commented yet!

Go into settings and general account settings (on the laptop at least - it'll look different on a tablet no doubt) you will see Blocking on the drop down menu (it has a no entry sign next to it).

Click on that and then where it says Block Users type their name into it. You have the option of blocking the person completely or just blocking app invites, apps, etc.
