Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 13 Dec 2014, 06:56

Good morning. :D

Another nice day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Going for a run after my coffee and back for my weekly gaze at Mr Martin.

Then on with a CD of Christmas songs and up with the Christmas tree. :D :D :D

Picking Don up at the airport at 2pm. :P :P :P

Will have to record SCD as we're going to Hairy Mary's tonight for a few beers, a bite to eat and a catch up.
He's only been away 4 days but I've so much to tell him.

Have a good day everyone. :)

Good morning Ally and all! It looks a bit chilly out there, just listening to the radio and apparently there's been a lot of accidents this morning due to ice, the paths were freezing up when I was out with Billy at 8pm last night though. I bet Don will be glad to get back to better weather Ally! Hope he has a safe flight.

Lots of running around to do today. A walk first and then I want to pop to a garden centre for some vouchers. I've got to return the wrong watch to Asda for it to be returned to Amazon, then I need to go to Tesco to see if my order has arrived and my sister is spending the day with Mom and Dad so I want to take her and Roger's presents as they probably won't be over again until Boxing Day. Tonight I'm cutting and colouring Mom's hair.

Have a good day all!

Morning :)
Good and chilly but no frost here, a lovely bright dry day :D

That's a lot of trekking about in the crowds Jo - I'm debating whether I need to go to the market, it will only be worse next week and today's dry...
You're getting all Christmassey too Ally, I really am trying :o :?

Don't think Bb has too much work today which is nice, and he's collecting youngest at lunchtime :)
Didn't get any h-word done yesterday as my back was twinging too much so that's my morning sorted if I don't go to the market.
And a lovely coffee as reward of course ;)
Hope you all have a good day

Morning everyone

Well, it's warm 8-) but very windy and there's some wet stuff around.

So we'll be staying inside today - which is a shame, as we have a week-end of local crafts exhibiting in the village, which I wanted to go to.

Ironing then, for me and a bit more houseworkery stuff

Safe journey to Don xx and hope those doing shopping have a good and productive day xx

I might even get our decorations down 8-)

Enjoy your day everyone xx

Morning all. Its freezing here. If I was a brass monkey I would be ball-less.

Lots of jobs to do his weekend so just got to decide what to do when. Mick and girls are off to get a tree this morning so we will be decorating that at some point; xmas cake needs icing and decorating (L's job), drinks cupboard needs sorting out (need to find space for the Baileys, Amaretto and Drambuie I bought yesterday), limoncello needs making, freezers need sorting, hampers need putting together and wrapping and mountains of washing to do - where does it all come from?

Off to mums later. We are going to move the spare bedroom furniture from the shed back into the room. She's given it a good clean and shampoo'd the carpet whilst it has been empty and wants to get the stuff back in. Then we are off into town to look around yet another market. They always have the big victorian xmas market (that was last weekend) but this year there is another market - just called make, eat, create. No idea what it is going to be (we assumed farmers market plus stalls from the Wednesday market).

Lazy night in tonight. I got a stew out of the freezer so no need to cook. Soak in the bath I think. And I might sample the Amaretto - just to make sure its okay.

Good morning all.

It lovely and sunny here now, but it looks cold out there. We won't be going far.
These darned coughs/colds we both have are hanging on - the only good thing
about it is that we both have a good night's sleep.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all :)

We're about to have brekkie and then we'll amble round for the papers. Our nearest shop is just 10mins walk away in a small village, to get there we walk through the grounds of an old church. It's their Christmas Fayre today so I expect we'll pop inside for a mooch round.

No other plans, just the usual laundry and tidy round later.

Hope you all have a good day :)

We're doing a big(ish) job - took the fireplace out - it was only sat there, not a real one. Took that to the garage, then found the paint as the wall behind it was bare.
It can have another coat in an hour or so, then we can move the long thing the Tv's on along the wall over the patch of different carpet, and put the thing the stereo's on the other side of that, by the window.
But we're also debating whether to paint that whole wall, while we're at it ;)
