Don't tell Grumpy

Postby tonicha » 12 Dec 2014, 10:53

but I'm working on a plan to spend some of that dosh on a trip

I haven't mentioned a word of getting on a plane and visiting family and friends, seeing as how it cost us over a grand last time

But, if we have that extra bit of spare dosh, why not? We have to use the passports at least once more before they need re-newing again, so maybe a little trip?

Although knowing him, he knows exactly what I'm thinking and is just waiting for me to mention it

I'm sure you're right - and I'm sure he'll agree it's a brilliant plan, once he's had a little moan about it ;) :x
The passports absolutely have to be used :D

Yes, it would be a waste of money not to use them again - perhaps that line of thinking might work with himself??? 8-)

Di, you met Grumpy - a little moan is not what he's going to do.

Its going to be full blown whinge

But, I mentioned in passing, earlier, that if we ever go back to England, he's on a strict diet for 6 months - and not a word was said.

Absolutely!
Ton, think of how many times you've used them and then work out how much they've therefore cost per use, and then add another trip and work it out again and he'll see that it's actually more cost-effective to use them again....

Jo, we've opnly used them once, and they've got 5 years to go before they need renewing  :x :x

I'll wait until the new year, just to make sure the dosh in actually in - then wait and see when you may just be having a meet :D :D
