I had a yellow cherry tomato (Sungold I think it was), a plum (Roma) and another regular round one - I need to dig out the labels from the greenhouse and give you the names.

I must say, I was quite disappointed with the Roma - it was really dry and floury and I was expecting a much juicer tomato. The yellow cherry tomatoes are amazing as always - juicy and very very sweet - delicious

Thank you. I can't find plum seeds, but I can find Roma. It might just be what they are called here.

If you do look at the packets, can you tell me the Latin name? They dont change between countries.

Might have to start a what to plant thread :)

I've already asked Mick to check out the packets, if he gets to his mum's greenhouse before I do ;) Will check the Latin names for you 8-)

The botanical name is Solanum lycopersicum (S. lycopersicum) or Lycopersicon esculentum + Cat number, but after that it appears to go very English for some reason.

Varieties are common names such as:
Globe or salad tomatoes
Beef/Beefsteak tomatoes
Plum/Pear tomatoes
Cherry tomatoes
Grape tomatoes
Campari tomatoes

Then we get the sub varieties. So, in Plum tomatoes you might like to look for:
Roma
San Marzano
Bangalore
Ropreco

Weka, an NZ supplier. Roma and San Marzano are half way down the page.
