Our company provides lunch every Friday - today was Carluccio's; yum yum yum... so I took home some left over wild mushroom pasta and have just heated that up. Delicious

We are very lucky in that respect. We alternate between a few places, and I'm quite often am able to bring home food for lunch / dinner the next day(s). But Carluccio's is definitely one of my favourites.

Did you stop and talk to him Di? Having seen a few cooking programmes of his he seems quite down to earth. I love that one of the programmes he has his dog in his kitchen (at home) with him... just a normal bloke

Ally was it the friends you used to have Friday tapas with that moved back to the UK?

Not them Di..for years now we've met a big group of our Spanish friends on a Friday for beers and tapas.

But due to recent Friday funny night on the TV we've been staying in.

Don will be back out with them next Friday..whereas I'll be stuffing my face at Marco Pierre White's in Nottingham.

I was once walking Max down by the canal when a runner got all tangled up in the lead. It all ended amicably, and untangled, off he went.

It was only later that I realised that..........

Oh yes meriad, he was really friendly, and of course I was interested in his mushrooms
He said he'd be there for the next 2 or 3 weeks and I was welcome to meet him to go searching; unfortunately for at least the next 3 Saturdays it rained solidly so it never happened
