Just thinking about this whilst posting about the new print I've bought.
In the lounge we have - Audrey, a canvas (which is actually 3 canvas's that make one picture) of earth as seen from space by a local artist, a canvas of a modern art dog done by another local artist and a print of penguins (which I hate and am hoping to get rid of when we decorate). We have family photos in frames on the sideboard and a big mirror above the mantelpiece.
In the hall we have a framed photo of my grandparents and a really long but narrow print we had made from some photos Mick took of the base in Antarctica that he was on that show a 360 degree view.
In the dining room we have a big mirror above the fireplace, family photos on the dresser, a print of some boats that we bought at Loch Ness, a print we bought in Greece of our favourite fishing village, a print we bought in Portugal of our favourite square to sit and watch the world go by and a print my Nan bought me which shows the bridge over the river in our village.
Upstairs landing we have four framed photos I bought at an auction showing the village high street in olden days.
In our bedroom I have framed photos of the girls when they were little and a sketch drawing of the girls that my sister had done.
I'm on the look out for something to go above the loo now - a typical Cornish scene I think.
We don't have anything going up the stairs - yet. I shall start dropping hints about some Leigh Lambert prints after Micks birthday I think.
